This is true from warranty stand point. Has anyone purchased refurbs form Canon before? Do they honor the warranty as if it was a brand new camera and lens?

Yup... refurb'd Canon cameras are backed by their standard 1-year limited warranty. I have yet to invoke the warranty yet, though. Perhaps someone who had a refurb'd Canon camera that actually broke could chime in.

I did some quick research. This lens alone is def worth the deal. I wish they had another deal for the 24-105m L lens that be sweet.

I had a lens repaired by canon they did a nice job. I fell off my bike whilst cycling and my camera flew off my shoulder and broke

Ouch! how much did the repair cost you? what kind of lens was it? i've been lucky and haven't had to get any repairs yet. I'm due for a cleaning on my 6D. It's hard to justify this deal for me. Reviews are saying the RF and 6D are similar in quality as they share the same sensor. I would still have to buy the mount adapter. Maybe I should hold off and wait until there's a deal on the EOS R model. There would be more advantages there compare to the 6D.

Not really. But if you have Perks at Work or Tickets At Work, Canon gives a small discount.
I think on $800 it was like $60 off. Not sure the exact percentage.

I remember RP body only was on sale for about $1k on Adorama. 1200+ before tax for this refurbished bundle is not really a good deal.

The Len is basically useless, the used rp is around 800, so 400 for that pen is too high
