You can get T-fal's higher end stuff, like their advanced titanium, or professional series. Costco is currently selling a decent 3-pack for $25

Future landfill. No thanks.
I picked the three pans deal up last time. The nonstick is really good. Makes them a breeze to clean. But, they are very thin and light weight. Lots of hotspots and it doesn't hold heat at all. That being said, I'm still very happy with them considering how much I paid.

Any recommendations for an alternative brand? Teflon brands tend to wear out in a couple of years regardless of the maker, so a decently priced, relatively good quality would be appreciated.

Got this last time. Thin and kind of cheap. But good deal for ten bucks. I might get another set and throw away the other ones and replace them. At this price, they are almost disposable pans. I use them for things like eggs and grilled cheese sandwiches. For that, they are good, because they are so thin they heat up quick. And also I use thin metal spatulas for them, and don't care if they wear out. I can just toss them and get another ten dollar set.

Tfal is junk
TFal is hit and miss. They have some amazingly cheap stuff, but some of their better stuff holds up really well.

Is there a way to check if it's this price in-store? There is a shipping cost and usually a markup online as well.

Sure. Call them with the item number 7788777 and ask. No tools like Brickseek online to do it.

It was $13.99 about 3 months ago. No rebate. No the greatest quality but can last year or two.

Any $3 fillers like they used to have for free shipping?
I agree they don't last forever but good for the price.

I probabaly replace once a year to year and half, but could use a replacement every 6 months.
