Anyone know if this will be subject to extended holiday return?
The one on sale at Costco for $400 the other day. Yamaha TSR-700
My room is small though so I'll probably stand pat. But wow, only $70 difference between them.
I'm really glad I waited for these deals. I was tempted to pick them up right after Zero Fidelity put up his review almost a year ago. Back then Adorama struggled to keep them in stock. Now they're discounted $150. That's wild.

hard to say, depending on what you consider budget. just remember, a good can and will last you for many years more vs even speakers
yamaha makes very good 2 channel integrated amplifiers before $1k level, but there are others as well.
Look into SMSL or Topping, there's too many models. I am not 100% sure if they have networked models but I think it's a good place to start looking.
I personally use Yamaha WXC-50 networked preamp but they have one with an amp as well, Yamaha WXA-50. I am not sure if its budget at $500 MSRP. Yamaha has MusicCast which is like Sonos and you can have control over rooms and what not. It is far from perfect and there is a lot of room for improvement but my use case is very basic and works well enough for me.
I mention it because you wanted networked.
