Uh, no, if you read my comment, the point is that 99% of this is objectively worth nowhere near $40-$50 like the list price suggests. The "sale" price is more like standard retail price.

Their sale price isn't actually a sale price; it's the retail price of the item. If you want a real sale on the items, then wait. To make your analogy stand correct, you should say a $4 street value bag of Halloween candy is listed as being worth $25 and then put on "sale" for $4 leading up to Halloween. It isn't worth $25; it's worth $4. If the retailer said it's worth $4 and puts it on "sale" for $3, like every retailer does with candy, that's a deal.
