His point is that you aren't being helpful at all. People considering this camera wouldn't compare to a t7i.

T7i - 45 autofocus points, APSC sensor, 6fps, 1080p 60fps video

sony a7c - 693 hybrid autofocus points, full frame sensor, 10 fps, 1080p 120fps or 4k 30 video

these are totally different cameras for different purposes.

Maybe try posting the T7i on a sony a6000 thread though.

$1799 MSRP, so this isn't much of a discount unfortunately.

Good camera if your a vlogger and portability is paramount. 24mpixel for photograghy is middle of the road. Price is high because its a sony. This is a better camera than fuji xt4 and other near comparables like the panasonic s5 and canons are even more.

Haven't really seen reviews for this camera yet but it sounds like it fills a niche I've been looking for. Full-Frame and portable.

Still a bit high IMO. $1300-$1500 would've been perfect but Sony doesn't wanna cannibalize their APS-C lineup

Unless you're printing 4' wide gallery prints, 24mp is plenty. the real world advantage of high megapixel is cropping into the image in post. I've got an a7rIV and an a7III and they're both great cameras producing great results.

Other than the fact that the Sony A7C is full frame - please explain your reasoning that it's a better camera than the XT4.

Oh lord! $1600 just for the body? I bought a used Canon digital Elph from eBay then bought a leather couch for my college age daughter and still had $$$$ left over for a shrimp cocktail. Glad to have a canon. And as a bonus...free med fries with the purchase of a large drink at McDonald's!
