I give this vacuum 5.5 stars out of 10. After about a week of use , the black tip fell off the hose , the very thin amount of glue holding it in place lost its grip. The suction is decent , I wouldn't use this for anything more than picking up large debris from your car or picking up drywall dust / saw dust, construction debris on jobsites. This vacuum has 1/3 - 1/2 the suction of my 50$ rigid 2 gallon vac.
The vacuum itself is a bit awkward to hold with the battery in place , the weight is not distributed properly and the yellow nozzle doesn't work as good as you'd think. I usually just unplug the black nozzle and use that.
I don't hate this vacuum , It'd be a decent vacuum if it was 35$. This vacuum fills it's role , it's meant for small jobs or punch list days where you gotta make a few cuts/ holes and gotta clean up the small amount of debris. All the bad reviews are true , and it's hard to recommend if priced any higher than 60$. I'm a dewalt fanboy , but I really wish they made this vacuum with a bit more quality
It's great for dust with projects but if you own a shop vac, you'll find this lacking. I use it because I own it and it's easier to get the shop vac out for projects but I find myself going into the kitchen to get my handheld rather than get a battery out and this for quick clean jobs.
It's worth having if you deal with dust on projects often but it's not worth getting for most if you don't. Get a decent shop vac.
