The controls are on the right ear, and I did have some connection problems with my phone in my front left pocket, but I swapped the controls to the left (reversed the hooks on them, and then swapped left/right channels in the app) and I've never had a single drop since.
I use them for a little over 2 hours/day, and after normally recharge every 2 days when they are around 50%. 3 days is no problem, but the one time I forgot to charge them didn't make it though 4 days - so the ~8 hours would be about right. Their app gives battery percentage remaining, and there are audible warnings at about 20% and below.
Sound quality is great without being excellent, and you can modify it to a reasonable extent in the app (at least on Android).
Claimed to be waterproof and although I've never actually tested them, I've never had any issues with sweat/etc on them.
Plenty of reviews on the internet, and I generally agree with that they say (or at least, the ones I read before I bought mine).
Potentially the one negative is the custom charging dock. The dock itself is great, and it's really easy to clip them in to charge - but it's non-standard. Right now I love it because it's just so easy to use, but I know the one day I need to charge them and have left the dock at home (or worse, lost it) I'm going to think differently...

Any personal reviews???
My wife has had the X2 or X3s for years now and they are legit, however she does rarely come across connection issues on her phone.

The dock does fit in the included case. I always keep them together, but I agree that having a non standard dock isn't ideal. I worry most about losing it.
Worst headphones for running. I bought these at Costco and went through 2 pairs in a month. Swet corroded the metal pieces that connect to the batteries.
No issues using either at the gym or while outside. The BT version isn't a deal breaker. My Motorola whisper is BT 3.0 and I use it for my work calls daily for at least 3 hrs a day. Works over 50 feet away.
True that, I've had the X2 for about 5 years. Still going strong.
