For me though, this is how I look at it.
This is a very low yearly expense vs. the cost to operate and maintain a vehicle
These will perform better in very tough conditions, when sight distance matters the most. This can be the difference between avoiding a bad situation or not.
There's no reason to skimp on safety items for a vehicle. These fall into the same category as brakes and tires, only the difference between top of the line wipers and average ones is about $15/pair (as opposed to hundreds on tires and brakes)
That said, this is a good price for these wipers. Whether you drive in conditions that warrant the improved performance or not is your situation to evaluate. If these are the wipers you use, then this is a decent deal. Otherwise, Costco has acceptable ones on sale for like $15/pair, and for a lot of people that's fine.

Depends on if they are 100% silicone.

I see. But how long do they usually last? IMHO, If they need to be changed after a year of snow and heat, I don't see the reason to spend this much.

The cheaper Bosch Advantage tied with more expensive Michelins per his tests. See 12:53 mark.
