Waited 3 days and went to Sams and bought about 50 dollars worth of items. The 45 dollars came off at the register and I only paid about 4 bucks.
Unfortunately you just have to have faith that the credit is there because there is nowhere in the app for you to see it.

I've come to the conclusion that the people going for the food are clearly not couponers or people who know how to shop for groceries. Which is probably why most of the articles/threads praising Costco always mentions items like the rotisserie chicken, pizza, etc. Pre-cooked or heat & eat food are fine on occasion, but certainly not $60 membership worthy. Also, Out of 3 states I've been in, the gas prices are absolutely not worth the membership unless maybe the person never drives outside of a 5 mile radius. There's always other options just as cheap and even cheaper where I've been.
I bought the Costco membership for the first time last November to finally be able to join in on some of the super duper awesome deals that always seem to pop up for Black Friday and throughout the year....so far this 11 months, I've bought gas twice, the Cetaphil lotion/cream 2 pack that was on sale (turns out it was in-store only & a "new" sensitive skin version which is worse), croissants and we tried the s'mores snack. I will be going in store to get a refund on this much wasted year that included 4 trips, none of the free coupons w/new membership, extremely crowded stores, and no deals to be found. Oh, and the great prices on alcohol I've been hearing about the past 10 years, turns out, not offered in Texas. Guess what else, I knew it was Kirkland brand, but I didn't know that wasn't in addition to other brands (Sam's has good prices on real brands of alcohol).

Costco is old school. They sell outdated items mostly by throwing 2-3 yr warranties) ! People love to use them so they can return them without hassle ..
Appreciate the service and the easy return policy they have but the lines suck! Yesterday I had to wait half hr to return Bluetooth Headphones( apparently lot of junk products are sold at Costco now and the girl said everyone returning those skullcandies )! Waited another half in checkout line! Not to forget it's weekday afternoon ..imagine weekends how horrible it has to be !
It doesn't cost a lot to come up with scan and go Like sams but Costco loves to keep its customers wait in lines !,
