Always the people that need to justify their money spent in these listings.

I own a 65in LG OLED, and a 55in Samsung Q80R.... Both last year's top TVs for price and performance... And I still use the Hisense 65in I got last year for $240 and I have no issue with the 50in ONN I bought for $100 as well.

Budget 4K are pretty damn good from Septre, ONN and the like... People praise TCL and forget people talked trash about them as well... Same thing for Vizio.

Even more interesting is a lot of budget sets use 2nd tier Samsung VA panels that actually look better than the entry level LGs with poor contrast.

Bestbuy had a 65" Hisense Roku last year for $299 which is a much more reliable brand IMO. It was available for an hour to two too if I remember correctly.

heh, i plan on buying the extended warranty for pennies. rookie..

Just like getting an extended warranty on a Ford Taurus. Sure you can get it fixed 50 times but the process sucks. You keep thinking you are winning though.

Wasn't an issue until 120Hz was introduced... It's like we're content until a new idea is thrown at us and then suddenly our current tech looks obsolete.

Pixelation is always an issue

Onn is a Walmart technology brand. This TV is made for them specifically. They have some experience with Roku having been selling a Roku soundbar for a year or two. I did a beta test for one of them and it works pretty well.
I see you got picked but I didn't for the beta. 😤

It was actually a frustrating beta. The wifi had issues until the very end. Spent hours trying to get the updates downloaded and working. I got the subwoofer added as a 2nd test portion and was supposed to get bookshelf surrounds added, but they ended up cancelling the last portion so I never got those. As compensation, I only got to keep the soundbar and subwoofer, which I was somewhat upset about. The beta versions are an ugly green plastic that is clearly unfinished. Not what you would call living room friendly. Won't pass the wife approval factor.

It appears that this one is manufactured by Hisense.

The onn brand gets horrible reviews on Walmart's site....and is probably the brand with the most returns I've seen that Walmart gets on electronics overall. Beware.

Yes, it was a Hisense Android TV. Picked one up for my father in law last black friday and it's been great.

Sounds like your unit had issues. I got the same green sub, my unit did not have any issues with anything though I did have to reset it once during the beta when one of the updates failed.

Gotta ask how did you sign up for the beta sounds very cool.

10 years ago, nobody would know what the hell 4k means.
