Always the people that need to justify their money spent in these listings.

I own a 65in LG OLED, and a 55in Samsung Q80R.... Both last year's top TVs for price and performance... And I still use the Hisense 65in I got last year for $240 and I have no issue with the 50in ONN I bought for $100 as well.

Budget 4K are pretty damn good from Septre, ONN and the like... People praise TCL and forget people talked trash about them as well... Same thing for Vizio.

Even more interesting is a lot of budget sets use 2nd tier Samsung VA panels that actually look better than the entry level LGs with poor contrast.

man... $228 for a full array led 4k 65" TV shipped free. Imagine seeing these deals 10 years ago, you'd hardly believe it.

I setup my Onn 65 last night, I think I am lucky with the panel. No dead spots that I can tell. The color and sound are much better than I expected. There is some edge bleed when viewing blacks, very similar to what I have with my budget TCL. Overall I am very happy, well spent $228 plus tax. Looking forward to hanging it this week

This tv does HDR.

Is it limited to specific HDMI ports? I cannot get HDR to work with my PS4. I get a message about the TV not being HDR compatible. The instructions and support for this model are SEVERELY lacking.

Has anyone else had an issue where the sound stops functioning completely on all inputs? I had it happen on mine yesterday after turning the TV on from being off for several hours. A quick Google search shows this as being somewhat common on Onn TVs. It appears that unplugging the TV for 10 seconds "fixes" it but it is annoying to have to resort to that.

Yes , it is common . Please call warranty for a unit replacement or they will refund you the entire amount if they don't have a TV in stock .

There is a slim chance people ordered and never picked up, or, they were picked up but never scanned properly so they still show in inventory. Slim chance, doubt it's worth a long drive. Maybe this or one of the others will be back in stock, these are supposed BF specials so I'm assuming a few merchants will be selling another round of stock. Good luck
Dunno the Walmart tactics . My local Walmart has onn 50 , 65 and tcl 55 at BF prices . It did happen this morning and ppl were in line to get them . M in Atlanta and brickseek shows limited quantities in almost all stores around me .

A lady rolled out a bunch of the TCL 55s. I asked if there were any 65 inch Onns. She said there were but they were for next weeks promo. She didn't sound very confident.

Enable hdmi 2.0 on the input your ps4 is on through the roku settings. It will allow hdr then

If there is anyone still contemplating this TV vs the Target TCL 65" I can say at least from my observation of having both of them that the Onn impresses far more. The TCL Android interface was clunky at the best and the remote volume control had a 1-2 second delay consistantly. The colors on the Onn are far more vivid and crisp and the TV itself just looks.and feels like a solid build compared to the TCL. I tend to use web streaming channels for news etc that my Nvidia can handle all day, the TCL struggled and could not process the video without choking itself to death, the Onn had no issues at all and the Roku interface I found was even quicker than my stand alone Nvidia shield. Now I just want to box the TCL back up and pretend I didn't buy it.
Fully agree with this. Bought and set up both sets side by side. My main use is a library of lower res content stored locally. I'm connected to a surround stereo and don't watch much OTA. The picture quality, colors and brightness on the Onn were miles better than the Target TCL. The tiny bezel and thin form also make it look a higher end. Picture on the TCL was often pretty blurry when the Onn was crisp and I was able to calibrate a bright and accurate color scheme on the Onn pretty quickly while I had to keep tweaking the TCL and never could make it look quite right. Blacks are dark and even on the Onn but less consistent on the TCL. That being said, both TVs are a great deal for $230. I just like the Onn a lot more.

For some reason, when fast startup is enabled, audio does not work. Anyone run into this or can test it out?

Got pickup notification that I had until 8pm tomorrow, then today I got a refund notice. Trying to figure out if I even bother heading over. Walmart seems to struggle with left hand right hand conversations.
