in my travels ive learned that the price of the printer doesn't matter. the only thing that matters is that it's super easy to refill, and has the features you want (color, duplex, wifi, etc). because over time, the price of the printer is nothing compared to the $$ you spend on toner.

still going on a ricoh 250dn, probably wouldn't buy that one again knowing what i know now... i'd want something more modern, with easier and more reliable wifi setup... but ill keep chugging along with this thing until it blows, just because i can refill a toner cartridge for $10 in 5 minutes.

Yeah really. I'm still running with my Brother printer similar to this deal for the last 3 years. it's only monochrome, but man I love the minimal maintenance. One toner can last 3,000 pages. I can't print in color, but I've resorted to having Walgreens and CVS print me pictures whenever there are deals posted here and I go to Shutterfly to print higher quality pictures. My only issue is not having a scanner. I go to my phone apps to make scanned documents.

I also have a similar one to the thread topic, and I'm on the original starter toner from roughly 2 years ago. I paid about $95 shipped from Amazon. I print fairly regularly (several times a week with labels, resumes, emails, etc). Works great, Never had any issues with streaking or anything. Wifi works great on multiple devices.

Mine is the one that is monochrome printing, wifi, and has a scanner bed on top.

Edit: This one

This is one of the cheapest overall printers to own.. I bought a refurbished one over 5 years ago (for ~$60) & have had no issues with it.. After market toner cartridges are ~$10 and print 1000+ prints.. The only downside is its black and white

I think I paid 39 at walmart clearance last year for new. And this is $80 for refurb?

Toner is like $18 for two at Amazon for some decent no name brand. Original toner that came with it would last 800 pages in my experience

This printer is awesome. You get a TON of pages with one toner which you can get for around $15-20. I used this one in college, and never even needed to swap out the test toner my entire college career haha.
