Code didn't stack for me either
I did have the kids kindle paperwhite in cart when I added code, but it didn't work for that so I removed it then it worked for this one automatically. Maybe some kind of glitch?
so...
1. Add kids kindle paperwhite
2. Add code
3. Add this combo
4. Remove kids kindle paperwhite

Wonder if we can purchase the whole package for $211 then return the two accessory items to reduce the money spent.
I first did the trade in, which didn't show, but once I added getkindle15, all showed in checkout and it was $140 and change out the door.
