went to my local walmart and there were about 5 left around 930AM. i picked up two. didn't notice the box was damaged on one until i got home since i had the guys put it on the dolly for me and load it into my car. hopefully everything is good inside.
Just got one from my Walmart in San Leandro, CA and there were like 10 or so left. They weren't in the grilling area, just in the store. Can anybody recommend a waterproof cover for this?

Saw 4 at my store. Was in middle of aisle in back of store (not w the other grills). My box slightly damaged, but looks like very good padding inside. Will find out if any damage soon!
They have at least three more in the Oceanside CA; I bought one about an hour ago... I went to the one off of college and 76 this morning around 630 but they all got bought out...the one off of The 78 and college has it (92056 area code)
These did not last long at my local Wal-Mart - maybe 5 minutes after doors open the 8 that were there were gone. Anyone else snag one this morning?
I went at 11 am and there were 2. Website said it was sold out but i figured i would check anyways. No damage to outside of box, but the legs were bent. I ended up spending 30 minutes to straighten the legs and other parts out. The griddle was also slightly rusted.
OK. Glad everyone who got one, got one! I use the previous model, with the hood and separate folding stand, now in my RV, I bought a Walmart model yesterday and assembled and seasoned and cooked dinner on it last night.
It is better for home use than the folding stand model, except that it does not provide a method for adjusting the griddle surface level to drain the grease to the rear, if necessary.
I'm back today to help those who are looking for a proper cover for the griddle, which it really needs if not stored indoors. And don't forget to empty the grease cup after use if you have lots of critters around, like me.
It was very hard to find a cover small enough, especially given that the griddle hood height is much lower than most BBQ's. The model I chose is rather pricey, but these kinds of covers will last maybe 10 years in our hot SoCal climate, which is not the case for most black vinyl BBQ covers.

According to the product's description on walmart, it describes the assembled product dimensions to be 37.5" L x 33.5" W x 38.7" H. The cover here fits barbecue grills with dimensions 38"L x 22"D x 44"H. Will it fit in terms of depth?
What cover is everyone using for this? I'd like to keep it outside year-round with my other grill and smoker, but need a cover for it. I can't find one made for it, and all the generic ones I see on Amazon seem to be a little too big. Any ideas? A link would be appreciated!

It fits well. It's too large for this griddle, but does not look like a sack of potatoes. I'm not guessing, it's on my new griddle right now. I tried to make that clear.
People who got one, how do you like it? Build quality, size, ease of use etc, etc. I saw that my local Walmart still had a bunch left and wanted to get some feedback before pulling the trigger on this purchase. Thanks
