Do you have real experience? Or are you just repeating someone else's opinions?
I tried a Thor range first and had non stop problems. The burners would not ignite half the time, the ovens cooked unevenly, and their warranty was a joke. Thankfully I was able to return it and I snagged a 48" Viking 7' series from BestBuy last year when they were on clearance for $5,200. Just from touching both ranges you can tell a quality difference

Mine is just the opposite. Have a Thor 6 burner and it has performed flawlessly for the last 2 years

Just the opposite would be if you bought a Viking that didn't work and a Thor that did work.
But it takes a lot of engineering and quality to make a high performance oven that will operate reliable for 10-20 years. A lot of high temperature electronics... easily broken.
