40lb Dr. Elsey's is $17.14 before the 30% coupon ($12.00 with the coupon): https://www.amazon.com/Dr-Elseys-...0009X29WK/

Does anyone know how this compares to Elsey's? I've been using Elsey's for years.

I consider fresh step the top of the clumping liter. I normally get Costco scoop away unless this is on sale. The dust is lower then most other liters I've tried.

I tried Dr. Elsey's after reading the reviews on here and other sites and my wife and I agreed that it wasn't very effective and decided to go with Arm & Hammer Double Duty and like it a lot more.

I haven't tried Fresh Step yet. Does anyone know how this compares to Arm & Hammer Double Duty?

Agreed. I used to get Scoop Away at Costco too until I picked up a low-cost Sam's membership. 44 pounds (4 x 11 lb bags) for 16.98, sometimes cheaper if running instant savings. Usually do curb side so don't even have to go in the store.

we have 2 cats and used Dr Elsey for years. However they changed something and we got tired of the litter turning into a wet paste/cement. We have been using the this litter (clean paws) for 2 months and love it.

You're lucky your cat adapts to change. I can't use anything but Tidy Cat, otherwise he spreads all 4 legs and grabs the sides when I try to introduce him to it.
It's really funny, but he's tormented by change. He's 16 so I'll continue to spoil him make him happy. laugh out loud

For those of us who either missed this deal or don't get the 30% off coupon, Petsmart currently has 2 x 42lb packs for $35.

Best deal on cat litter is a 40 pound bag of wood pellet horse bedding for $6 from Tractor Supply Co. No, really. Wood pellets break down into sawdust when wet so you can just sift out the urine. Super easy with a sifting litter box. Then just manually scoop the poop out (I use a Litter Genie). Less smell, no clouds, no tracking litter, much cheaper.
