I purchased a box of these from a local habitat for humanity for about $1/each.

Their failure rate has been absurdly high, especially in higher moisture environments like bathrooms. On average I would estimate I receive about a year of life out of them.

The failure seems to be within the internal working of the bulb itself, not the LED. The light will start to flicker, maybe once per minute accelerating to constantly flickering despite being on a regular switch (not a dimmer.) Once it becomes unbearable I replace it.

Low voltage flickering when dimmed I found I was able to adjust the minimum voltage on my Lutron dimmers by holding the button for about 10 second and using the rocker to set it high enough. I assume most others will have a similar feature, but the minimum was much higher than I wanted and ended up going to 40w equivalent LED for that fixture.

However I still think this is a reasonable deal.
That's about the same as my experience. The fliquering was really annoying. Felt like I walked into a club.

Seems like a good deal but if you sort by recent reviews, they're not great. I'm gonna pass.

I bought the 16 pack maxlite 5000k 100w equivalent bulbs the last time they were posted and 2 of them came dead. I know it's not the same as what's posted here but it makes me worried about the brand. I did have flickering issues with some of them as well. I did have to return them because they were just too bright and I got the sylvania 2700k led bulbs instead which are great but sadly are not dimmable like these are.

I bought these during the last deal (less than a month ago) and wouldn't buy them again. Like others have shared, they flicker a lot. Maybe if it's very easy for you to change bulbs, it might be worth it, but it's not worth it if you have to take out a ladder or need to take a fixture apart.
