its too big for only 1080p, you will be able to see the pixels. not a bad deal its just not ideal on the specs.

Bullshit, you won't see pixels unless you like to pretend to be an elitist and sit stupid close to a 32 inch screen. Anyone will find problems to complain about if they want to find problems.

I have a curved Acer 32", also just 1080p, and i'm typing on it right now, sitting 2.5 feet away from it , have perfect 20/20 vision and the screen is perfectly fine for text, videos and images. I game on it too. Will you see finer, sharper display on a QHD screen at the same size and distance, yes, but nobody is going to see pixels at typical, practical use scenarios.

TN - fastest response time <doesn't matter except to uber pro gaming>

IPS - in this price range, it's just average

VA - BEST contrast ratio on LCD, in 99% of computer monitor use cases, it will look better than IPS. OLED is not an LCD, but it has near perfect blacks.

IPS and TN both have garbage contrast ratio around 1000:1, the blacks look floaty gray, you basically lose the shadow detail because the pixel can't get dark enough.

VA on monitors have around 3000:1, TVs have 4000-7000:1.

On VA you get much more vivid looking colors because of the deeper colors. IPS colors look vivid when bright, but as you get near the dark tones they look whited-out.

I think this is geared towards gamers (including myself) who want the larger screen with high refresh rate, but have mediocre graphics cards like 1060. Not for the coders out there, as it just doesn't give enough pixel real estate for seeing sufficient amount of code, esp in landscape mode. Given it's target audience, I think it's a good deal for a 165 hz monitor, although not as killer a deal like the 4k TV deals that Walmart has been teasing us with. This one, you might actually be able to buy!!!

I think that's your opinion. I had a larger monitor that was 1080p and it's noticably worse than a 24 inch. The details aren't as scrip because everything is blown up larger

false... that COMPLETELY depends on your viewing distance. If you like to sit nose distance and lick your monitor while looking at it, then yes. You will see pixels. Use the monitor from a 3-4ft range and 1080p 32" is fine. Its an age old debate that has been debunked a million times.

I have 1440p 144hz and there are a lot of other factors involved. graphics power, resolution scaling in specific games, viewing distance, etc. 1440p is garbage middle ground resolution created by PC elitists who (up until recently) couldn't create a decent 4k gaming experience. 1440p will be obsolete VERY soon when 4k 120hz,144hz, etc gets affordable.

probably had more to do with the specific model you had. My 32" IPS Samsung monitor has a MUCH better pic than my 27" 1440 144hz.

No it has to do with resolution, way too pixelated. I have a 27 @1440p now. 100x better.

dude 32 inch 16:9 aspect ratio 1080p is fine i agree...but 32 inch ULTRAWIDE 1080p looks so much worse. are you speaking in terms of 16:9 or 21:9? because 1080p 32 inch 21:9 is absolute ASS picture.
