its too big for only 1080p, you will be able to see the pixels. not a bad deal its just not ideal on the specs.

Bullshit, you won't see pixels unless you like to pretend to be an elitist and sit stupid close to a 32 inch screen. Anyone will find problems to complain about if they want to find problems.

I have a curved Acer 32", also just 1080p, and i'm typing on it right now, sitting 2.5 feet away from it , have perfect 20/20 vision and the screen is perfectly fine for text, videos and images. I game on it too. Will you see finer, sharper display on a QHD screen at the same size and distance, yes, but nobody is going to see pixels at typical, practical use scenarios.

1ST initial question in my mind is the information on the website and whats labeled on the boxes themselves. The Part Number is off from what seems like 3 versions. the box lists UM.JE0AA.S01
but the website lists UM.JE0AA.S03

I will look for firmware versions next and see if there is any updates or versions available.

Registering SN# and SNID# not working and not being accepted. Not even under ACER Support link.

There is something off and it may be the same as the other 2 Acer monitors I purchased, but unlike those EB321HQ Abi ..... I can return these if my information and Acer's response back indicates that these are actually a few versions behind and that's why they are not showing up at there site fully as did my previous listed new but with no full site follow up.

Not saying in all cases nor yours individually, but for me the immediate rush may be one I should reconsider from the price point to the physical use aspect.

Is the link for that version, but the information I am referring to as to what I asked Acer in a email is where is and or Is there a major difference from UM.JE0AA.S01

Which is why I am working on finding the firmware and asking them is that the difference.

Report back if you find out anything, got one coming and may just return it if its older rev. Be easier to take back if it hasn't been opened. Has anyone tried gsync on it yet?

Been playing around with this all day, for the price it's definitely a great monitor. The contrast/black levels are way better than my IPS. The response time is really quick in the fastest setting with minimal ghosting, and there is little to no back light bleeding. Definitely a great buy.

I don't think you'll notice a difference. TN has noticeably poor viewing angles but VA/IPS are fine. But really for office work and movies on a 32in monitor, a 2k screen with lower refresh (like the Lenovo that's always on sale) will serve you better.

Just bought this monitor and am playing APEX. At 144hz, you're not going to notice any freaking pixels. Stop being silly ya'll. For the money this monitor is amazing!

If you're worried about the "pixels" increase the anti-aliasing in game and just sit back and enjoy.

IPS is garbage for movies. You lose all shadow detail.

VA is almost as good as oled for SDR movies. for HDR it's pretty good, but not as good as oled.


For games, since they're color graded for the more common IPS and TN pc monitors, they don't make much use of shadow. But if you play something liek doom 2016, you can clearly see how terrible it looks on IPS. faded grey everywhere.
