I'm a nobody. Just some guy who bought this seiko deal, who regularly buys quality watches, who is commenting on a Seiko deal.

You're the one randomly pushing some other website, piggybacking off this deal. Why not start your own thread if that watch is such a bargain? Because it would be thumbed down to oblivion. You're only here to post off topic, random non-deals to feed traffic to some watch maker that doesn't have the exposure of a Seiko brand.

Go home. Or stay and participate in the conversations that are occurring. But stop schilling and trolling and trying to change the topic and seeking validation because you bought some random watch off the internet.

I'm sorry if mommy didn't hug you enough. But I doubt you're going to find the intimacy you seek in this Seiko thread.

Also, congrats on your 50mm acquisition. Now you have a time piece with the size and style of a court-ordered ankle monitor.

This is a pretty good deal for a solid watch. I wasn't aware the SRP line of watches had the same moding community as the discontinued SKX line. You can get it at this price with either the NATO strap as linked or even with a stainless steel bracelet [macys.com] for $188 with free shipping. This is fairly large at 42.5mm so it' not for small wrists. A day/date complication with an automatic movement and a display case back for $188 is a solid if not great deal.

I have that black dial samurai. It's my favorite watch. Gorgeous in person.

I have two of these (and flipped a couple more). Great watch and most SKX parts fit.

However, Kohls had the SPRD55 (bracelet version) for $170 last week (40% coupon). I was able to get my SPRD95 for $141 last black Friday plus Kohls cash and $150 for the model above (SPRD55) on a macys coupon earlier this year. I would wait for a coupon/black friday for these. Its very possible to get for $150 or below.

Side note: several of the Kohls watches came without box and papers. No issue with Macys

The 4R36 movement in this watch is one of the most accurate mechanicals I've ever owned. At the end of a month, mine is less than 1 second fast! This is beyond what one would expect from Rolex or Omega, or even high horology brands like Patek Philippe.

Well, I looked and found a very nice Citizen Eco for a great price:
https://www.macys.com/shop/product/citizen-mens-chronograph-drive-from-citizen-eco-drive-black-ion-p... [macys.com]

I happen to collect watches over the years, and this one I've had my eye on!
Only $103 after additional $20 off with coupon.

Thanks OP

I'm waiting to see if Kohls do the same Black Friday deal they did last year. This is a good price, but that was a better price.

Stainless steel bracelet would be great, but that watch is BLUE not BLACK....

Diver looking watch. Not ISO depth certified at all and only to 100M. Why can't Seiko just reissue the SKX007 line with all the usual tank like water resistance and put in a slightly more modern hackable 6R movement? Instead of this fashion superman "Sports 5" line?
