Amazon had for prime day the Samsung EVO Select microSD 256GB card for $27.99 but I didn't buy it since I'm one of the few without Amazon prime. I noticed that Amazon now has it for $29.99 - which is a decent price. But I also saw it is $29.99 directly from Samsung https://www.samsung.com/us/comput...e256ha-am/

Samsung also offers employee discounts from many companies (such as via ticketsatwork) or student discounts, for another 5% off. You can also use cashback sites that give up to 6% cashback. Samsung also accepts paypal, so if you have Chase, the bonus category is paypal, which is another 5% cashback. Additional discounts include referral codes for new users at Samsung (5% off that people say stacks).

Overall, I'm estimating I'm paying $29.99 - 5% (1.50) = $28.49. Cashback site = $1.71. Chase cashback = $1.42. Total should be around $25.36 for a 256GB EVO Select directly from Samsung. They also have other sizes on sale: 512GB = $79.99, 128GB = $18.49, 64GB = $9.99 (all before any student/employee discounts). I listed the 256GB because it gives the biggest $/GB bang for the buck.

Just thought I'd throw out this potential for those that don't have Amazon prime. I searched and it looks like similar prices came up a few days ago but was marked as expired, so maybe it's back?

I'm not sure why this got marked as expired. It still shows up as the same price when I click on it. It even shows the same price at amazon.com. 9am 10/21/2020.

Oh well, I tried.

Just ordered one directly from Samsung. Used my .edu email account to get the student discount. Thanks. Upvoted!
