no it wouldn't. you would think that, but it's not true. Spatial dithering = GOOD.

This is the case for VA-panels, because very large panels will appear to have alot more contrast drift as you get out towards the left and right edges.

It looks like a better overall image with even contrast than 1:1 pixel mapping.

Think of it this way, You CAN"T SEE the dithering algorithm at a normal viewing distance. But YOU CAN SEE the contrast drift.

What is better, fixing a visual artifact you can't see, or one that you can.

Of course the solution to both is OLED. Problem with oled is burnin because PC/games have too many static elements.
Thanks for the info! considering grabbing a few for something ridiculous and now I don't have to worry about whether turning it off is an option of not.

I think it means if you live in a most major metropolitan areas it will be available for you to purchase and they will ship it to you. But if you live in BF, Idaho you may be out of luck.
Oh, BF stand for Bonners Ferry...
Could possibly be store pickup only and only at certain stores, but I think your scenario is more likely.

You do realize in 2020 calling it a master bedroom is now racist right?
Lord have mercy! At first I thought you were joking, but a super quick Google search & you're RIGHT! What is this world coming to?!?!

OK, so my PRIMARY Bedroom *rolls eyes*

Still would like to know 70" leg distance (in a non sexual way please, thanks)

EDIT: Took a while of digging and found this in one of the Walmart reviews (in case anyone else needs this info):

A big TV can deliver an immersive viewing experience and this Onn 70" TV is big. It measured 62 inches wide and if you intend to use the stand, just know that the legs are also 62 inches apart.

Owners of a basketball team can't even call themselves owners of a basketball team, they now are the governor because the players felt uncomfortable all of a sudden. I'm sure the players don't own houses, they govern them

These TV deals on top of the Chase Freedom 5% back are going to be a drain on the Walmart wallet. But it works for me.

Anyone know if their "DLED" display tech will be suitable for use in a DIY magic smart mirror? Making a DIY magic/smart mirror is on the long list of eventual projects, and I assumed I'd shop around for a used large budget computer monitor, but now I'm wondering if an actual TV will work instead.

I'm like 100% certain this will be a trashy tv, w/ terrible uniformity. but u know, it's like the ugly chix with big o' t, well you know..

LOLOL... I bet that's what everyone's thinking. That said.. I've personally vowed never to buy anything without wide gamut. It's just so much better.

Costs more to recycle an old tv than to buy a new one.
Just put it on the street like a normal person.

What is the over/under on how long this deal lasts? 45 seconds max is my guess. Hopefully I am wrong. I need a cheap bedroom TV. The $1000 Westinghouse 38 inch TV I got a deal on 15+ years ago died.
they have a 58" same brand and smart TV from ONN available right now for $298 as well. In case you miss ou on the 70in and need it.

Is there any way to find out input lag before purchasing a tv? Idk why retailers don't show this info.

Your video is not the same TV posted on this thread.. This one is a 4K Roku Smart TV with and average of 4 star rating. It may not be a high end product but $88 for an 4K Smart Roku TV is worthed for any use; Could be kids/guest room TV, you can use with your computer as a monitor or a spare TV.
I got the 43" for 218 a while back just for monitor since I am working from home. Love it.

Just put it out at the curb with a "Free" sign and someone will come make your problem their problem
No. If you live in a state where the retailers dont take tvs, and the recyclers dont want them, it can cost you $1.50 per pound or more to recycle a t.v.

Now a recent large screen tv 55" is roughly 40lbs but one from 10 or 13 years ago can easily be 80 or 100lbs on a 42 plasma.

People love free shit. Someone will take it from your curb. If not, just take it to a dumpster somewhere and toss it.
