I have a spectre 65" that's 4K but no HDR. This has to be a superior panel even slightly. I can sell the 65" I have on Craigslist for at least 300 and boom, money made back. Does anyone think it's a bad idea? I can't imagine this tv being worse than my spectre 4K with no HDR lol

Do these onn TVs last? Looking to get the 70" for living room for when we have people over. Don't care about picture quality too much, given that I have a home theater with an LG OLED. Just need a decent TV that'll last, as we plan to hang it up on a wall.
I have no idea about the quality or how long they lost, but if you have a Citi Credit Card, that'll get you +2 year extension. Then you can pay the extra $13 for +3 year extension. After that, you can register your TV for another +2 year extension. That'll come out to 7 years that it's covered by warranty.

Does anyone know how well the built-in Roku OS works compared to a Roku 4K Streaming Stick+? Looking to replace an ancient 32" 720p Vizio that currently has a Streaming Stick+ attached to it.
it's the exact same thing, but it's built into the TV, and the TV comes with a Roku remote

What I mean is, how does the performance compare? Is the built in Roku slower than the streaming stick+?

The person who said this is NOT UHD and it's actually full HD must not also realize you can't have 4k and FHD be in the same description. This is clearly a 4k tv so therefore UHD. FHD is 1080p.

Also keep in mind why are all the roku tvs generally cheaper than other TVs out there? Because they could sell the tv for much more but that's only one sale but kind of like the amazon fire tablet approach if they can track you and advertise to you, long after the sale they find ways to make money off of you. So all these roku tvs often come with features only the higher end tvs come with but for a much cheaper price. And they need to last long enough to benefit off of advertising to you. I personally don't have a problem with them tracking me, everybody is getting tracked to some degree whether you like it or not.

That said ONN tvs as of last year were pretty trashy. But those TVs weren't roku 4k tvs. So if this is ANYTHING like the sceptre brand as far as quality goes this would be a really incredible deal.

I've got the streaming stick on one older TV, and I have a $300 TCL 55" Roku TV. The performance is identical on both. It's the same on every other TV with built in Roku that I've tried.

I guess it's possible for a super cheap TV to have a Roku setup that works slowly because they cut too many corners, and if somebody had to be the first to have that problem, it would probably be these TVs. But I would assume it works just fine like any other Roku TV I've seen.

I wonder if Roku has certain specs and standards they require before allowing a TV to use their system. I know Android TV doesn't, since I've seen reviews talking about a very slow and laggy interface on cheap TVs that use that.

prepare for all the Chinese bots with databases full of stolen credit card numbers to clog up the website leaving regular buyers with nothing.

Looks like they are going through something. I hope we don't see them in rehab soon.
I told them to go to rehab, they said, "No, no, no".
