Found these on Brickseek for $9.
Comes with 2 packs a back cover and charging cord.
Works with Elite controller too. (Version 1, I dont have a version 2)
Actually have this/these. (bought at full price, I think it was $15 or $18) They work well ! Charge fairly quickly and last a long time. Don't think you can beat the price of this/these (and you get TWO batteries in the pack too)
Saw these at my local WMart as well (for $9). But don't need anymore. So I can spend the $ on other SDeals! lol
Thx. So I realized I should have bought it when I had seen it a weeks ago, for my series x preorder. So I drove back now and it was gone but I found a powerA charging station with 2 batt packs and a stand for $5!! Normally $26. So win!!!
wait..this is for xbox one..series s and x (next gen) these may not fit..the new controllers even though they are to be very similar with new tech + usb c to play and charge at same time but it requires a battery pack as from what I read it doesn't come with it.

The new controllers still take AA batteries so battery packs must be same size still as 2 double A batteries. I can't imagine they won't work. Doesn't make sense. Especially since xbone controllers will also work with series x/s. I'm willing to risk it for $5. Plus I think Walmart has a 30 day return policy. So I cud potentially return them anyway.

just unsure of the latch if it is any different, cost wise it should be same as the controller I think is the same physical size. worth a shot

It isn't that these packs won't work. I have four of them. It is the fact that the replacement covers won't work on the new controllers.
It isn't a huge deal for me because the battery stays in pretty snug but there is an increased risk of it falling out, especially if you move around a lot or are animated.
FYI, the newer version of this product on the PowerA website included two battery covers, one for the Xbox One and one for the new Xbox Series X/S controllers. That's probably the reason these are discounted. They do not come with the new battery cover.
And they tell you to stop being an entitled Karen and buy the kits they released specifically for the new console.
You seem to be assuming that I would be trying to get it for free. Replacements should be available for purchase as they can be broken. Evidently you are entitled to think I think I'm entitled. Humm...

The batteries will work; the covers will not.
