It's pretty simple. The Windows product key is baked into BIOS. Command line for cmd.exe (elevated, run as admin)
wmic path SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey.

Create a bootable USB. Swap SSD, boot from USB use the product key from your BIOS.

Also I ordered a t14 last month with a 12 day until shipment. Then that turned to 1 month then bumped to 2 months, with zero notification from Lenovo.

I'll stick to buying used thinkpads. They are a terrible company to deal with first hand.

Same. Ordered 10/6 with a 10-12 days expected ship date.

I just checked, now expected ship date is 11/14.

I'm likely gonna cancel and see if I can get the ROG G14 from Best Buy instead.

Nvm. Just know its pcie. So i guess its not sata nvme.

Is there an expansion slot for m.2 or sata drive?
