I went through two of these. One died in under a year. The other technically still works but I've replaced it with a proper mini fridge. Worked well for my office cubicle hidden behind my monitors. Not for storing milk and such as it doesn't get cool enough to store perishables. It was good for storing soda and water... I've also used the heat function to store warm bread in it. Overall it's a neat novelty and uses peltier cooling which is highly inefficient, but works.
I used the working one in the car for long road trips to keep drinks cool when traveling was still a thing.
These were on Walmart clearance in store for $7 bucks! People bought up entire displays filling multiple shopping carts to buy them all up. Now they're reselling on Facebook Narketplace & eBay from $25-$50.
This doubles as a space heater as it works by removing the cold from the inside and moving to the outside while also creating some more heat.
Not terrible for winter but terrible for when you don't want to be heating your house.
That's thermodynamics. All fridges pull heat from inside and it has to go somewhere because that's energy. And the additional heat is because there's an energy cost to do it.
Agree that it doesn't seem like a great option in a small space though unless you'd be running the heat anyway.

Edit: I'm probably thinking of the non-coke version of this cooler. Some older Youtube reviews show it at $30.
