Not being fuel is not the biggest problem. The batteries they provide will be useless with 3 of the tools (circ saw, recip, angle grinder) and the oscillating tool can be a battery hog. This set is poop if you ask me

For those wondering it's a 1.5 and a 3. Looks like a 2 and a 5, it's not, I think the above is spot on.
You're so close to the Black Friday month promotions, which you can see in several Youtube Videos, I'm not sure why you'd bite on this kit.
But also, all brushed (for Milwaukee: Fuel > Brushless > this) so know what you're getting when you consider this vs other combos from Makita, Dewalt.
It's good to know that Milwaukee only became a good brand when brushless motors came out.
We switched to all Milwaukee for our shop many years ago, we have well over $7k in milwukee cordless tools in use. We have m18 drills and impacts that are pushing near 10 years old and they are this cheap non fuel models. They have held up better than they should've, 1 impact did die. So again these are fine for light use and will last. My god even the original batteries still last for light duty.

The fetish with brushless is comical. For most light duty homeowners it's more than enough.
Though I would make the following suggestions if someone was looking to build a tool box.
Get 12v drill/drivers And impacts. No reason for the added weight of 18v
I bet the m18 fuel hackzall is just as good as this beefy older sawzall. The 1 handed ability of a smaller recip is awesome. Highly suggested. The fuel in this instance might be worth it.
Nothing wrong with this circ saw if it isn't going to see a ton of sheet ripping. Will be better suited with at least a 5ah battery
I have both an 18v and 12v oscillating tool and most tasks see me grab the 12v. Hate unnecessary weight of larger tools.
chances are most diy folks don't need an angle grinder. If you do this one I am sure works fine. I have a friend that has a few cheaper corded grinders that he dedicates specific discs too and doesn't remove unless they need to be replaced. I have a cordless one and tbh don't use it enough and probably should have saved money and gotten a cheaper corded one
Just my thoughts. Also suggest folks get the necessary accessories during these Xmas sales. What I have done in the past is get a great deal on a tool and stash it Away til I need it. And then when I need it I am like shit I need a blade and end up paying full retail. Buy the blades, bits, discs etc when these sales are going on you will appreciate it. Also buy and use gloves and goggles. The sense of relief when something bounces off your safety glasses is real. And the anger when you get a splinter because you were lazy and didn't put your gloves on is also real

Non Fuel equals the Hyundai of Milwaukee.
