Not quite as good as an hour ago but still a darn good deal at $10/month.
iwheela
So, in order to "keep" my "B" number but still be able to take advantage of the Mint mobile promotions for "new accounts", I would need to port out my "B" (Mint) number to GV (at the end of my current term). There will be a one-time $20 fee charged by the mobile provider. And, at the same time, I will port my GV "A" number for a $3 fee to Mint mobile as a "new" number, and from that point on that number will be disposable. After each Mint term is up, I would just get a new "A" number while the "B" number (which is my "permanent" number) will live on at GV as the actual GV number.
If I would not be so dependent on my current "B" number at Mint, I could just let it expire (and save $23) and get a different Mint number activated with each promotion and link it to the GV "A" number? .

$45/6 months = $7.50 per month for 8GB data
If you don't mind searching for another plan in 6 months, the math says this deal is better.
Edit: Nevermind, found this in the FAQ:
Mint Mobile SIM cards can be activated up to 45 days after you receive your SIM.
I think it used to be 90 days based on some of the answers on BestBuy

Best buy is offering returns on current purchases until January, in case you can't activate in time. I checked with customer service chat on this item, and they verified it can be returned in January if you don't use it.
Port your number to google voice. Use these deals as you please after by linking the random number to google voice. You can't port within mint but if your main number is on gvoice you can use the promo plans over and over
