I saved $150 for the coupon and then another $22 for my red card so it was about $470 after taxes.
edit: do what the user above me wrote. Much easier haha.

The ninebot max has much more range.
But isn't the Ninebot $300~ more than this? I paid $470 for this scooter after taxes and I think the lowest the Max has ever been is $675 so you're still looking at $240 more?
So I see the published 220lb limit. Anyone over that # and any issues w/it? I need to lose about 30lb to get there!
My GF and I rode one once and we are probably slightly over 300lbs together. There was a noticeable drop in acceleration uphill but on flat ground it felt fine. Didn't feel any less safe. I dunno I might shoot for a more powerful model.
Almost all scooters say they have mechanical brakes, is this different than the back foot break? Do you know any particular model to look at? I am not keen about speed or mileage, I am only interested in a very light scooter, safety, and comfortable ride.

Ninebot Max has better range, speed, and comfort (10inch air tires)
Looks like this only has rear brakes.. not very safe

It only has rear brakes..not enough stopping power. Flat should be ok.. but I would look for scooters with mechanic brakes
You don't want to end up like this guy..
