This plug has power consumption monitoring.
You can stack 2 above/underneath each other in an outlet.
It's based on the ESP8266, so you can use the Smart Life app...
Or flash it with tuya-convert to Tasmota 😉

Was previously posted a while back.
There's also a 2-pack for $10

Since this is walmart, unfortunately $35+ orders for free shipping.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

When you buy a smart plug, look to see whats its rated for. In the U.S., a typical outlet is rated at 15 amps, 120 volts. This equates to about 1800 watts. Your smart plug should also be rated for 15A output (MOST ARE NOT) if you ever want to run something with more power such as a space heater. This seems like a good deal. Its got the same ratings as the Amazon plugs which I have gotten several of at this same price (through previous Alexa deals) and are great. I have no experience with this particular brand. There is also the 2 pack for $10 at this link..

Even better yet, these plugs can still be flashed with tuya-convert to replace the firmware with Tasmota. I bought a bunch of the single-pack plugs and was able to convert them over-the-air to use with Home Assistant. No need to connect to the cloud or send personal data to random Chinese servers if you're running Home Assistant + Tasmota.

These plugs seem good so far. For $5 per plug, it's amazing what you're getting: wi-fi access to plugs plus power monitoring.

It still shows in stock for me.
I can add 12 (the max) to cart, and it allows me to checkout.

Yes, and they all have their own app. Will stick to three brands (Amazon, Kasa, Wyze) and buy at this price point when on sale

That is weird. I just refreshed and it still says out of stock and gives me the option of getting an in stock alert.
Different distribution center maybe?

Kasa has it's own app, but still allows Alexa to control it. Are other brands different?

Edit: Actually it said in the listing "Works with all major voice assistants".

Thanks for posting. The shipping cost killed it for me.

Can't comment on this particular brand but I use the Go-Sund Smart Plugs (same form factor as this) that are rated for 16amps and semi-regularly the 4-packs go on sale for $19.99. I do believe they lack energy monitoring but the app and widget are really nice and they integrate perfectly with alexa and google home without any special workarounds (just letting people know in case these go out of stock).

I purchased these a few days ago when they were on here. Pretty solid. No major issues. They also have 4 pack of bulbs. 2 white and 2 color for $15 that don't require any sort of hub. Just screw in and fire up the app. Now my theatre room has custom colors for movie watching

Thanks OP. Bought 12 single ones to avoid shipping. They were in stock for me. Probably different dist centers. They'll be stocking stuffers!
