Just an FYI, this floss is NOT a good substitute for Oral-B Glide. Both are tape type floss, but the satin floss feels a lot harder, sharper, and is less durable compared to Glide.

Awesome. Was able to get two of these and one of my favorite glide flosses for $8.43. I'm so happy.

How do these compare to the Costco's Oral-B Glide Advanced or Sam's Club's Oral-B Glide Comfort Plus?

When it comes to floss for me, it's Glide or nothing.

How does it compare to the "advanced" floss [costco.com]?

Pretty sure you're wrong. If it was teflon coated, it would be a lot more smooth. There was a response by Oral-B in the questions section for the Satinfloss product saying it does not contain PFAs.

If anything, Glide is more likely to be teflon coated.

Glide breaks/splits (cleanly, no shred) for me between the same two teeth consistently. I've asked my dentist and they don't notice anything about these suspect teeth.

In the patient's chair, I've used the dentist's Glide floss (I believe) and it doesn't tear.

Much like electric toothbrushes, I also floss in quadrants and have changed order of quadrants to try to rule out my flossing technique. No change.

I have started to suspect Costco's Oral B Glide but haven't seen batch/lot numbers on the packaging to compartmentalize potential quality assurance issues.

Does anyone else have any similar experiences or any insight?

Yeah, I'd agree with that assessment.
