Apple saves the earth not including a charger in the box for the phone you already are having shipped to you, so you have to order a separate charger which requires a second delivery, packaging, etc. Makes sense.

For a few bucks more you can get a PD charger, but there's still a ton of gadgets that charge via Micro USB, and something like this would be good for them, at least (and all of the USB A to Micro USB cables most of us already own).

I know I sure don't have that many fast chargers laying around. Not to mention the iPhone now ships with a USB-C to Lightning cable, and I have even less USB-C chargers in the home.
