New to oscillating tool. Could someone recommend a blade to cut through a few 1" copper water pipes? Got one kit from amazon which includes a half moon shape flush cut blade. Not sure whether it will do the job. DEWALT Oscillating Tool Blades Kit, 5-Piece (DWA4216) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FMHP...MFb5C4XX91

Good price. I don't want the battery and charger as I already have enough batteries and chargers.

Good price if you don't already have a charger. This was my entry point into the Dewalt battery line (I use mostly Milwaukee but this oscillating tool is highly rated). I have since added their sheet sander to my Dewalt lineup as Milwaukee doesn't have a good one of those yet either Stick Out Tongue.

How does this one stack up?
I'm hoping to get into the Milwaukee fuel line at some point so I was leaning towards Milwaukee but I am not opposed to having different brands. (Batteries)

About the same price or less than bare tool, I am sure someone will take them off your hands.... or sell them.

Dewalt is brushless so the motor will be a lot more reliable for the type of work you're going to abuse this tool with.

Thought about it and with the 4amp 115 charger (not the less 112 or 107), battery, bag and a couple blades, went ahead and bought 2 for Christmas presents. I have the XR and besides the XR's 20,000 to the Atomic's 18,000 oscillations per minute, cannot tell the difference between the two.

Repped and thanks....

That 115 charger and 2 amp battery will themselves make a nice gift.... at least $50 worth, leaving you the bag, tool and a couple blades..... all with a long return window if needed.

This is the one tool that I was looking to go Atomic vs XR with. I always seem to want my corded.one to be just a hair smaller...the small size can really help with this guy, and the Atomic doesn't look too gimped compared to the XR.
