Do people only buy this for the "fancy" branding and tube or is it actually decent?
This line had the novelty of having tiny speckles of actual 24k gold mixed in. At $28, it would most likely be a hard pass for a L'oreal Paris product, but at the $4-8 range putting it in line with their usual drug store lipstick prices, it's a decent deal if you like the color. In the end, its still a plastic tube and nothing too special. I'd snatch one of these golds for my kit to actually use if the price of shipping didn't kill it.
Okay I took the dive and bought it (paid like $10 total, not bad for a lipstick to be honest). It just came in. It's not a full coverage, it's more like an overlay. The formula is insanely smooth and consistent and will be great as a non-gloss topper to any other lip.

I watched a YouTube video on it & its really pretty on more like a shimmer & can be used as a topper for other colors.
