All about used, but problem is can't replace battery. Might have weak battery. Might be worth the $77 extra (assuming 10% tax) for warranty and new battery.

Can't you test the battery when you get it? Looks like they do allow returns. It's a pretty good dea if you get one with good condition.

Outside of running it from 100 to 0, there's no battery health metrics on these. I think its unlikely return units have been used nearly enough to form any battery degradation.

If you're getting these instead of waiting for the new ones, I would seriously advise get spending the extra 90 on getting it both new and with Apple Care from the Amazon deal. There's still plenty of other reasons for returns (static ANC, rattlegate, etc.), and some take a while to form. Apple will replace them without using the 2 free replacements under Apple Care. Love these but I'm on my 2nd pair for the static issue, and I'm unsure if replacements would be as easy with this deal.

I actually bought mine from VIPoutlet deal which are Walmart returns for$150. Mine is like brand new. I know it's hit or miss but sometimes you get great deals with open boxes, etc

An out of warranty battery replacement directly from Apple is $49 for either the buds or the case.
