Where is that option? I'd be down.
Question for the collective wisdom of SD - I recently bought the drill/impact driver combo for $200. I am not a heavy woodworker but it seems that around the house a drill/router combo provides more versatility than a drill/impact driver combo. Thoughts? I already have a wired jigsaw and a wired sawsall

Just buy the set and sell what you don't want. Facebook works pretty good for that.

However, speaking for myself, I use the drill and driver together way more than the router. The majority of my projects where I'm driving screws also involves drilling pilot holes. Having a separate drill and driver, so I don't have to swap bits, is so incredibly useful that I've tried to block out the nightmare of a few projects where I didn't have that. Additionally, the driver lets you handle bigger and tougher screws, and with significantly less effort, than the drill.
Most homeowners manage just fine without a router and rarely miss it. Most home projects that require screwing are best with a drill and driver, though. Outside of woodworking projects, my routers are basically dust collectors.
Also, while the Dewalt XR Router is one of (if not the) best cordless compact routers you can get, if you're only going to have one router, I'd recommend a mid-sized corded router. It'll give you a lot more flexibility and be able to handle things that this router just can't do. The Dewalt makes a perfect second router, though!
