Weight limit, minimum and maximum height and structural soundness of the frame. it will have some wobble at standing height. But, check how much in reviews

I'm lucky to live near an Ikea. I've built a Jarvis desk with the Gerton [ikea.com]tabletop. This time around I bought this frame and plan to use the Hilver [ikea.com]tabletop. If your not near an Ikea, I recommend something you like that is at least 1in thick. You can't go wrong with a butcher block that you can paint or polyurethane.

hmm the Gerton is 61x30 which is ideal for me. They have predrilled holes already?

They only have pre-drill holes for the IKEA legs/frame. When I built it with the Jarvis desk I used the original wood screws the frame came with and a drill without pre-drilling the holes. I'm not too sure what the FEZIBO frame comes with... worst case just need to buy some wood screws from the hardware store. Just make sure they are not too long to go out the other side of your tabletop.

Have you tried the Hilver yet? I considered it. But one I saw in store wasn't flat, more bowed in the bottom. Maybe it could be forced to flat once installed, but being fairly hollow feeling, I didn't want to risk it.

Did you end up cutting the Gerton to size? I would have to for my dimensions, but I wasn't sure how it would hold up.

+1. Pay particular attention to the minimum height, and account for the width of the tabletop on top of the frame. This frame goes down to 27.6", which will then be about 29" minimum once you add the top. 29" may be uncomfortably high for short people.

Not yet, I picked up the last Hilver they had in the store last night and the desk frame should be delivered by Amazon next week. The Gerton I left as is and put a stain and polyurethane coat on it.

I tried Gerton on this dual motor. It is nice for sure, but darn that table top is heavy.
I do need to drill and use my own wood screw.

I considered Hilver, but it is thinner than I like. For $21 more, I went with the thick and heavy!
