Saw your question on the Makita Kit. First time I grabbed an impact was in April. I started as Makita guy, so I went with the XPS 60 piece for it to match my drill. Then I was converted to Milwaukee. So I bought Milwaukee driver and dill bits. I have the hardest time with the Phillips bits. They seem to slip too much. The magnetic sleeve feels weaker than the Makita. I started getting addicted to bits and tools, ended up buying Dewalt Max Impact and Bosch. As beginner this is my opinion. And I'm invested in M18, we'll see how they do in the long run.
1.Makita XPS/ Dewalt
2.Bosch

Literally exactly the same as me. Bought XPS, started acquiring Milwaukee tools and wanted matching bits but the XPS are FARRRRR superior. Better built case with labeled bits alone is so much nicer.

XPS is top of the line. Milwaukees are fine, though but if your just going to have one set as a DIY/Homeowner because you won't be driving enough to destroy the bits, get the XPS

I am dewalt ecosystem so will prefer to stick with its bits if they are also good.

Which dewalt driver bit do you recommend ?

Which dewalt driver bit do you recommend ?

1.Dewalt Max Impact @ $19.99, Not on sale atm.
2. Dewalt Max fit around @ $9.99, If you don't want to spend $20 on the others. If you go with these you can also go with the Dewalt drill bits that are currently $9.99, down from $15. $20 for both is not bad.
