$400 slower.
FYI, I got this tablet a couple weeks back on a similar deal. I ended up taking it back since it does not have the feature to format the SD card as internal storage or move apps to SD card after installation. This means you can only use the SD card to store media (photos, videos, etc). You are limited to about 50GB of storage for apps/games since 10GB is taken up by the system. Otherwise, it was a good tablet.

I bought this tablet for the wife on a earlier deal from Walmart. It seems slower than my 3 year old iPad that I bought for $299 during Black Friday.

My wife wanted a secondary tablet for google apps and watch Netflix or hulu. She still prefers the iPad. I am sticking with my iPad, also.

This is a better deal from earlier Walmart/Amazon price $169 because of the micro sd card. And maybe comes with extra Costco warranty. Not sure on that part.
Agreed. We got a couple of the 32gb latest gen ipads since out old android tablets were getting slow. For under $300 I think the latest gen basic iPads are the best bang for your buck for the average couch based tablet user.

Is this tablet good enough to play games for my kids? Like minecraft? Thank you!
Yes, it is. This is what my son does.

The fact that you can't use the memory card for apps is a deal breaker. What's the point of offering to extend the space? I ended up buying an iPad 8th gen from Costco. More than what I wanted to spend, but I guess the resale value will pay for itself.
I think you actually can. Enable it in the developer's options.

Ended up getting this instead of Fire HD 10.
It was a sweet deal with my $40 off $250 promotion saved from earlier this year.

Thanks OP!

I think you can activate the option in Developers options to enable to install apps on cd card. I don't think you can move apps there.

Go to Settings > System > About phone.
Tap Software info > Build number.
Tap Build number seven times. ...
Go back to the Settings pane, where you will now find Developer options as an entry.

You can save media for offline viewing and listening. Great if you travel a lot.

If you Apple user don't go to android for tab. It will be frustrating. Just buy iPad call it day.
I agree. I don't consider myself an Apple fanboi, but Apple tablets (and phones) are so much easier to use, upgrade and maintain. I'm a techy and I used to have an android tablet, but I find myself getting frustrated using Android tablets. I just don't have the time and patience anymore to troubleshoot and read through pages of forums just to address my issues.

Android tables are definitely cheaper as compared to Apple ipads with similar specs, but I think it is worth it if I don't need to deal with headaches of Android OS.
