Come on. 1st, ridiculous. . .who's having 2nd thoughts if they get them for $20 each? 2nd, why would they go through all the trouble to sell, ship/deliver/meet you, and take risk, all for the same $20 per. 3rd, this isn't a marketplace. This is such a great deal. I bought a set of these lights last year and didn't take them off since. I turn them on almost every day and they worked perfectly well regardless of the weather.

I bought lights just like this at the beginning of the summer. Now that winter is here, I'm debating whether to leave them up outside. I live in the valley region of Oregon, so we get rain all winter long. I have two consecutive strings, the first currently mostly under a house eve, but the second will be largely exposed to direct rain. I know these are suitable for wet locations, but I'm curious if anyone has advice on just letting them get rained on all winter. Would it be a good idea to grease the threads with some Vaseline for added protection? Should I wrap the daisy chain connection between the two cords with electrical tape? I have them hooked into my porch light fixture so they go on and off with the light switch, and I would like to have access to that all year.

Geese, I just bought 50 led bulbs from amazon to replace the incandescents in my existing strings and that was over $40. This is a great deal.
