Picked mine up on Saturday and installed it. Good on day 1, but on day 2, I started getting a vertical artifact line, close to the center of the display.

On some darker colors, it will show a line of yellowish/green instead, as if that line of the display is misinterpreting the input. Most apparent on menus, but shows during actual video as well.

I guess I'll be returning this, sadly, as I can't imagine this situation will improve on its own. Unless someone else has an idea...

How is everyone liking this TV so far? Seems like a few people posted and are happy. Anyone not like it and returning it? Hard to beat this price point.

Mine doesn't show up for another week or so since that was the earliest delivery date available.
For $270 after tax it's a nice big screen. In my bedroom I had a 32" before and was just to small to view while laying in bed, my viewing distance is about 15 feet. This is definitely much better and I prefer the Android interface over Roku. I watched hours of NFL football yesterday and worked good. The screen is decent, it probably wouldn't compare to a LG Oled or higher end TV side by side but I'm not super picky for a bedroom TV.

I'm keeping it for now but at least I have until mid January to return it back to Best Buy. If some other awesome slickdeal shows up between now and then for a 65" or bigger TV that is less than $600 and blows this one out of the water then I'd probably consider hassling with returning it. I doubt that is going to happen though.

Cons: The Android TV built into the set is laggy and inferior to the Google TV/Chromecast. In fact, it's inferior enough that after an hour I plugged in the Google TV and didn't look back.
Dude you haven't experienced laggy til you've used Samsung's Tizen UI. Now that is one POS.
I'm sure Google's own Google TV dongle is blazingly fast. HiSense's Google TV may be slower by comparison, but it's perfectly usable and snappy. Far, far better than Samsung Tizen.

TV was scheduled for home delivery this morning. I get a call from the delivery truck driver who said it was on the wrong truck. After an hour on the phone with BB, they figure out they actually haven't received the TV to the warehouse and didn't bother to reschedule my delivery. Coming 11/6 now...

Any tech-savvy buyers of this TV care to share their picture settings? I have tried to find something online but thus far have failed. I tried Rtings test settings on a similar model? but wonder if anyone here has played around with this and would like to share. TIA.

Got mine set up in the bedroom, it's got a fair amount of bleed in the top right quadrant. Only noticeable when watching something in letterbox mode. I had low expectations for this, but so far I'm satisfied.
Yeah mine has some bleed in the upper left and right. But it's in a dark room so I turned the backlight way down. Still there but much less noticeable.

Any assurances they'll actually have it in stock for delivery 11/6?

I'm in a similar boat, my delivery is scheduled for tomorrow morning, but I haven't received a precall or any non automated update.

Lots on stories on the BB forum about TV home deliveries being out of sync with actual stock. People waiting weeks or months after a string of no-show appointments...

No assurance for Friday, but I'll keep you updated if I heard anything.

I hooked it up to my work laptop at 4k 6 hertz, it significantly reduced my commute time (my office in my house is 15 step away) and pissed off my wife.

The problem with this TV android that its not slow - it's actually pretty responsive, the issue is that it looks like shit. Blurry and washed out, not sharp at all, like 720 badly upscaled to 4k. Hooked up Fire 4K and now it is awesome.

That sounds really weird. I looked at mine up close and it's razor sharp. Have you updated the firmware?

Edit: I'm referring to the main Google TV UI. Are you referring to individual apps? That would be up to the app maker to properly scale their app to 4k screens.

I did, hook up PC or any other 4k source with text and UI (roku, amazon fire 4k) - the difference is night and day. I was OK with it's android until I tried a different source.

Yeah, that android main launcher. Connect something else like Amazon Fire 4k, you'll see what I'm talking about.

Looks ok to me. Different strokes for different folks LMAO

When I watch 4k content on Plex or YouTube it has superb detail. I guess if the main launcher UI trades off resolution for snappiness, I'll take the latter. The important thing to me is that 4k video is accurate.
