Well this proves that Prime Day is a crappy scam. Bought the Moto G Power for $199.99 on Prime Day and now it's $160 with a $15 off coupon on the page. Thinking of doing a return and re-buy with the $100 GC offer that I missed on Prime Day.

Moto G Power $174.99 - $15 coupon (clip on page) > now $179.99/no coupon
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...0DER&psc=1

Moto G Fast and Moto G Stylus are also slightly cheaper than it was on Prime day but no $15 off

Moto G Fast $146.99 now $149.99
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B086H4C...08cf160INT

Moto G Stylus $194.99 now $199.99
https://www.amazon.com/Stylus-Unl...ast_sto_dp

Link to the $100 promotion for those that didn't see it. looks like it has not expired yet.

I want to bite. But I've literally been using Motorola phones for my past two purchases. I wanted to treat myself to a Samsung because of how great their AMOLED screens look. But comparing prices, this is basically 1/2 the price of a Samsung A51 (what I was looking at). Is it double the phone? Probably not. I'm surprised Moto can make them this cheap.

Does anyone have any clue if Samsung will have sales on some of their mid to high range phones?

Indeed. I have the phone as a spare. It works great for the price. Some lag, not the best screen, but battery life for days. Plastic feel for sure but just hang to it as a spare.

I know it says it's compatible with sprint, but is it really?

Isn't Sprint basically T-Mobile now...?

It is. Has the cdma bands. Sprint can add it via esn if it's not already listed. Just added this for a friend to a sprint account.

Is there any reason to get this unlocked version when the consumer cellular vesion can be had for around the same price and unlocked easily via ebay code? Also, i realize this is a subjective question, but does this screen size function well as a "phablet?" seems like 6.4 inches is still somewhat small, namely too narrow, for tablet use.

I have this phone and just switched from AT&T to T-Mobile (Sprint). It works fine. I really like this phone and it's battery life.

Not to deter you away from getting something new, but before you do get a samsung, play around with one first before getting it. Their software is different and I hated it (on my wife's S9). Somethings can not be customize the way you wanted it. I also have 2 moto phones.

I don't believe the consumer version allows for bootloader unlock...

You could always try the Moto Edge 5G.
