Custom Saved Configuration:
http://www.cyberpowerpc.com/saved/1MY496

COUPON: SPRING0410

Note: This is a configuration I have created based on certain components. You can customize every option from a good selection. For example, $95 (with coupon) to update to Ryzen 9 3900.

Not selected OS as that saved $60. You can buy Windows 10 License from third party sites at less than $10.

SPEC:
  • CyberPowerPC AMETHYST 240V Mid-Tower Gaming Case w/ Front & both Side Tempered Glass + 3x ARGB FANS
  • Ryzen 7 3800X 3.9 GHz 8C/16T Processor (4.5 GHz Turbo, 36MB Cache)
  • CyberPowerPC DEEPCOOL Castle 120EX ARGB 120mm AIO Liquid CPU Cooling System w/ Copper Cold Plate (Single Standard 120MM Fan) ($5 upgrade to 2x 120mm Fan)
  • GIGABYTE X570 UD ATX GbE LAN, 3 PCIe x16, 2 PCIe x1, 6 SATA3, 1 M.2 SATA/PCIe
  • ADATA XPG Z1 16GB (8GBx2) DDR4 3000 MHz Ram
  • Nvidia RTX 3080 10GB GDDR6X Graphics
  • Intel 665P 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD + 3TB 64MB Cache 5400 RPM HDD
  • 750W GIGABYTE GP-P750GM 80 PLUS GOLD Fully Moduler PSU
  • Free CyberPowerPC FPS Gaming Mouse Pad
  • Watch Dogs: Legion + 1-year GeForce NOW Bundle

Each of the components selected in the above build, are from reputed companies with pretty good quality and these builds are better than the full pre-built Desktops available in BestBuy or Amazon as you won't have any control about the components they use like the Motherboard, Ram, PSU, Cooler etc.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

It would be really hard to duplicate this build for the price, I would suggest buying if you are planning on building with best bang for buck in mind. That said there are a few caveats:

NO OS + 100$
3000mhz RAM is a bit slow - +20~50$
no WIFI - + 50 (if you go with a motherboard that has one)
last gen nvme hdd speed at R/W up to 2000MB/s. id spring for at least 3500+ MB/s

SO all in all its neck and neck with my current build price list - if you don't really know how to build and want a one and done warranty, this is a no brainer.

I would also say this - If you are building a rig right now with a Ryzen motherboard, it may be more beneficial to wait for the new Ryzen 5000 cpu and 6000 gpu series, which will be a bit more, but will likely streamline, boost, and increase overall performance than a last gen ryzen cpu and 3080 combo...but without real world testing take that with a grain of salt.
3TB hard drive free with any M.2 PCIe SSD is just for today. But even without that, this is still a solid deal for rtx 3080 in my opinion. Not only it is probably the cheapest 3080 build but also all the components are from named brands and pretty solid quality.
If you're doing lot of cpu intensive works then yes. For gaming, not really required.

Do they charge before shipping, and I'd it relatively easy to cancel prior to shipping?

Good deal. A similar build on ibuypower is $2000. Really tempted to take this one.

Is it worth paying 100 more to get the 12 core Ryzen 9 3900?
