I have one of these. Very satisfied with it. I don't know about cold weather performance though since the cord is used in the Tampa Bay area (today it's 88F with a feels like of 98F).

If you need a longer cord with the same wire gauge. Sam's Club has a 100-foot-long version with lighted ends for $39.98 (or $12.22 more than this deal). If it's out of stock in the club, it will ship Free for PLUS members, else a nominal shipping charge will apply. I have the 100-foot version too from Sam's and it's a keeper.

The Yellow Jacket for $40 bucks is a pretty good deal. Would be all over it except for the shipping.

So my 2 reasons I didnt want to go with the Yellow Jacket 100 ft for 40 bucks is the shipping (like you mentioned) and also it is a PITA to roll up a 100 ft 12 gauge cord imo.

Also the listing on the yellow jacket is kinda shady AF

So which is it?

Not to difficult to understand. Components (aka parts) made in USA, assembled in Taiwan. Since parts made in USA, the thing is made in USA.

If you prefer assembled in USA, then prepare to pay double or triple the price.

Awesome... I just bought this exact one for $42.99 3 weeks ago.

Gonna buy again & return since Amazon don't like doing easy price adjustments..

I saw that increase last night, but now back... the 100 foot also came down in price. I still like the neon pink ones... they stand out. I bought two of these 50' ones and one of the neon pink in 100', all 12 gauge as gifts.

Personally, I am more in the market for SOOW or SJEOW TPE type cords that being EPDM rubber, are driveway rugged and super flexible in cold weather, but usually buy 10 and 12 gauge in bulk and make our own.
