If you're more into single-player, I would argue BOTW is still the most "must-play" Switch game hands down.
But when it comes to playing with friends or online, yeah I'd agree with Mario Kart.
This looks like a Black Friday type bundle. Releases 11/22. Great deal.
The deal for Black Friday last year was the console and the digital game only. So this is better since you're getting a 3 month online subscription

However, Need for Speed Hot Persuit Remastered comes out next month and will be $40 on all platforms.
Both are huge open world games where you can just cruise around / free roam when you're not racing.
You can find videos for them on YouTube.
