Yep, exactly. I'm shocked that the best deal I've yet to see was the launch trade in offer.

i just went through and try to do a trade in on my s6 tablet and it gave the max $500 trade in discount but when you click the special offer for $100 it takes the trade in down to $350. what bs. may as well trade in an old phone than but i have to see what i can get for that. i just need a decent tablet with cellular. beside the size difference is it worth it to upgrade to the s7+

I'm trying to get the 10% off to trigger via cancellation. Do I just have to remove it from my cart or do I have to actually go through with the purchase, then cancel shortly afterward?

In my opinion, no.
You get 5G with S7/S7+, but that's overrated at the moment.
Your S6 is plenty powerful for at least 1 more year.
I usually skip a generation on Samsung phone/tabs, I just don't see any ground breaking feature between generations that I would NEED.

Complete the purchase, and then click on order details and request cancellation, reason taking too long to arrive and then it will give you 10% extra discount.

Thanks. Worked for me! Got the 10% discount for the S7 256GB w/ educational discount, total came out to $479.82 before tax. Also got 6% cash back.
