The Garmin Vivomove HR utilizes a touchscreen for its discreet display. When checking the time, you'll be able to scroll through your messages, check your heart rate, step count, and calorie count throughout the day. With its build-in wrist heart rate monitor, you can get an accurate VO2 max estimate. -slickdewmaster

I couldn't DIScourage purchase of this more strongly. I bought one a few months ago and it's awful. It's terrible as a watch, it's terrible as a smart device. The hands get misaligned ALL the time, sometimes multiple times a day, so you can't trust the hands. And the screen doesn't always come on when you raise your hand or when you tap it. So I'm always raising my hand up and down or tapping the screen repeatedly to get the digital screen to pop up. And then there's the battery life. 10 days? More like 3. And then if you get the low battery sign after you've left home enjoy the next couple hours of a functional watch because it's going to be a wristband before you get home. And the screen is so crappy and tiny, the functionality of it is basically all lost; it's almost impossible to use even with the smallest of fingers. Just, just don't get this watch.
So I paid $300 for it a couple of years back for my wife; she wanted a smartwatch that didn't look cheap and that she could wear for work. She loves it!

HOWEVER ... they have this 'hand offset calibration' thing that in her case seems to go wrong every few weeks - the time shows incorrectly until you fix it (it's like the watch doesn't know where '12' is). It's a pain to go in the menus and re-calibrate - well, it is for me, as I have to do it for her Frown
I have the low-cost sport version of this one and paid about the same. This is a great price for this one that has the full metal face and leather wristband.

This is a great as a fitness/health tracker, and you can see texts, control your music and a few other things.... but it's not like apple watch as far as functionality/look - its very inconspicuous.

I get complimented on mine all the time.

Fascinating. Didn't know these existed, kinda want one now.

Unrelated side note, what is up with that horrendously formatted feature list?

As an alternative, it looks like Amazon (vm expiress) also has B07GLXZV2J SPORT Black with Sandstone Silicone Band for $120.
