1090p will never happen
Thanks! If only it wasn't 720p.
A quick mini review after using this laptop for approximately 1 hour

okay, i got one to see if it might somehow dethrone my old laptop as king, knowing there was no way a cheap laptop like this could do it, and it didn't, but i must say, for the money, it's not bad!

going from windows s to regular windows was super easy, and didn't cost anything.
the touchpad and keyboard are decent. i'd give it a 6 or 7 out of 10. (mind you i'm used to using a more expensive laptop with a glass trackpad and nice backlit keyboard)
the processor, memory and cpu all go together to make a fast smooth experience.
no backlit keyboard. for $350 i'm not sure if it's realistic to expect a backlit keyboard, but man, it would have been nice to have one.
the screen - this was the big knock on the laptop, and here's my opinion: putting it next to my laptop and watching the same youtube video, the difference is easy to see, the colors are sort of washed out on this Ideapad, someone said it was a TN panel, and not a nicer IPS panel, and although i didn't fact check, just by looking at it, it looks like a TN panel... as for,the lower resolution, as a person who's used many different laptops, the low resolution is a plus and a minus. the minus is of course that there's less on the screen because it's less pixels. 1366x768 is this ideapad, compared to my main laptop which is 1920 x 1080. this means that it only displays 1366 pixels of info across as opposed to a higher resoluation screen which might have 1920 pixels across. as an older person, i actually don't mind seeing less on the screen most of the time, because since there's less on the screen, it looks bigger as compared to a higher resolution screen.

almost forgot, the touch screen, it's decent, and it's nice to have a touch screen, but for a bigger laptop i think you don't use it that much. i forget where i read it, but the smaller and more holdable the screen, the more likely you are to use the touchscreen. the bigger the screen, the less likely you are to touch it.

my overall thoughts are that for $350 it's really not a bad laptop. i'd recommend this laptop for kids or someone who maybe would just be watching youtube or playing games, a casual user. I wouldn't have any trouble recommending this to most of my family who pretty much check email, watch videos, and it's mostly for casual entertainment use. Also, maybe for someone who uses the laptop casually, but has an external monitor to plug in when they're doing serious work. also, to note, the sound is not great, it gets a decent volume, but it's not especially rich sounding. overall, for the casual user, i give it a 8 out of 10.

for people who work with the laptop in the daytime sun, it's not a super bright screen, so stay away. also, if you're working with spreadsheets or alot of data, where the lower resolution of the screen displaying a few less rows or columns is going to frustrate you, stay away

Too bad, last year it was a Dell model at this price. Lenovo is way inferior.
The specs that dell gives you for the price is great. Their customer service is also great. However their quality to me has went down the superbowl. I brought a dell back in 2018 that the GPU died a year and a half later. After going to various forums I discovered the various issues people have had with dell laptop. Especially the heating issues.

Dell's customer service was junk when I used it. Had an Inspiron and there were ghost touch issues. Dell's customer service for that line is in the Philippines and when I searched up my chat agent's name apparently, Dell contracts their customer service out to a 3rd party company. They wanted me to be without a laptop for 2 weeks while it was shipped to Houston. Unless you buy a business pc or have a contract with Dell you are out of luck. HP contracts to India for some stuff but still poor return time. Microsoft surface was ok till they got rid of the Microsoft stores and now they are like every other run of the mill company. If you want good customer service it's Apple all the way but I just hate how the Mac interface is and not having a touchscreen is a pretty big dealbreaker for me... in addition to the high pricing. I've never owned a Lenovo PC before so can't speak for that.
