People must be rough with them. I bought this exact model when I bought my Nikon at Bestbuy 5+ years ago, and I still use it. Yes the head is plastic, but I've never considered it to be fragile. I handle all of my equipment with care, and it tends to last. This tripod has been no different.

It is fairly light and not the sturdiest, being mostly plastic and aluminum, but this is an entry-level tripod so that's kind of expected. Overall, I think it's a good tripod for someone starting out (it was for me) and you can't beat that price. I think I paid $20-25 for it and still having it several years later, I'm content with the value.
I just bought one, had the same model about 3 years ago and now it seems so much cheaper than the one I had a few years ago, it's worth $10 and no more. It's good to just have around the house but I wouldn't use this to go anywhere. I also have a Sunpak Travelite Pro and that's a really nice tripod, think I got it on a deal for like $30 years ago, if that happens again definitely grabbing another one.
Also this one comes with a cellphone mount in the box in case anyone was wondering.

Anyone have one of these? Seems nice for 10 bucks, but the 1 star reviews are almost all about it breaking after a few uses.

This one is a low-price camera tripod. I think the ring light comes with a light stand, right?

Some come with an all-plastic tripod. I use it with smartphone.. (Apple Watch remote trigger) works better than selfie stick and if it breaks or I lose it not a big deal.

$10 tripod pays for itself if I get 10 trips out of it

I wouldn't mind getting another one. I've had two break in the last 3 years. The top axis plastic thing is very weak on these. They always always break. But 10$ isn't bad for a cheap throw away tripod

No. It doesn't.

It does make OP's post incomplete and a SD paid Moderator/Editor should have helped it be more accurate. But they are usually too busy posting shilled/promoted junk to actually help forums.

I see $5.99 shipping or Free in-store pickup.
might vary by location.
