For those of you who bought this from the 10/21 deal for $79.99, you can get a price adjustment from Best Buy just by going to your purchases, select return and support options for LIFX Z, and select 'I found a cheaper price'. There you will be matched up with a sales agent who will do the price adjustment. Took only 5 minutes.

You all think this is worth it at this price point? Heard the strips are hard to get set up etc. have a bunch of other lifx already.

I have three of them in the house and haven't had any issues setting them up. You do need to read the instructions and do a few steps in sequence, but it's really not hard.

Any way to connect these in a non linear way? I want to put them in a bookcase that looks like this: https://i2.wp.com/www.honeybearla...jpeg?ssl=1 If not, I'll just solder my own. Just looking for something easier

I have one. It was a little bit more picky with wifi signal than the actual lights, but I got a $14 range extender and now it works perfect. Also, I paid $96 for a 6.6 ft a few months ago, so this is definitely a deal. Already ordered mine.
